The first notes
Saxophone, then piano. Jazz and classical, growing up in a house where there was always someone to play with. The pattern-thinking starts here: hear the phrase, hear what it needs.
Twenty years of performing
Twenty-plus years of saxophone, piano longer still, and almost none of it in a practice room. Months away from the horn, then a stage and tunes he has never heard, improvised in real time. The level-ups happen live, mid-song. Jazz becomes the operating system everything else runs on: hear what is missing, fill it in, with the tape rolling.

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, UC Davis, class of 2019. The doctor part of the name becomes real.
Practice
GP and urgent care, dogs and cats, twenty-plus appointments a day. The doctrine forms in the grey zone: the animal first, the family second, the doctor last.
Hello, world
December 4. Zero coding experience, one HTML page, and a challenge from his brother: "do it yourself." 143 commits in the first four days. The discharge-instruction tool becomes a 12-to-18-hour-a-day obsession.
The platform
The tool becomes VetSoap, now Voxxo: first a scribe, then a clinical workflow tool (voice-to-SOAP, live translation, a deep knowledge layer), built over the course of several months while seeing 2,000 appointments. Five to ten more patients a day get seen. Later it grows into a full practice management system too.
The harness
March. Coding from the phone begins; by April 26 the relay has its first commit. Then come 174 commits in five days and a full multi-agent orchestration platform. Research papers. Memory infrastructure adopted by production AI tooling. The veterinarian becomes an AI scientist. Read the rebirth paper.
The threads converge
Harness advances port back into the veterinary platform; the clinic keeps the software honest. Roughly seven months from the first commit, the three threads stop being separate stories.
